Tuf-Neck BMX Stem Long Bolt

Tuf-Neck Long Bolt for BMX Quill Stems.

This is a custom-made replacement bolt specifically for most Tuf-Neck vintage and newer Retro Tuf-Neck stems.  This is not an OTC bolt, it is made specifically for Tuf-Necks.

The bolt features Black Nitride coating for superior corrosion protection and wrenching wear.  Black Nitride is a patented finish, that looks similar to black oxide, but offers superior qualities.

Not sure which length you need? Over the years, Tuf-Necks used different quill lengths...no problem...this bolt also features an extended thread length, so it is compatible with 5.5-6.0" replacements.

This bolt also works with vintage stepped wedge nuts or newer slanted wedge designs, as long as either use "coarse" threads, or 3/8-16TPI.  This bolt will not work if you require a less common "fine" thread.

The bolt is 4140 chromoly, 3/8-16 x 6", commonly called coarse thread.
